How a project actually goes
1. In-home consultation
We come to you, look at the room, talk through how you'll use it, and listen to what you actually care about — performance, aesthetics, budget, or all three.
2. Design and engineering
We model the room, choose equipment, plan wiring and acoustic treatment, and present a written proposal with renderings. No surprises later.
3. Coordinated installation
We work directly with your builder, electrician, and interior designer if you're in new construction or remodel. For retrofits, we plan around your existing finishes.
4. ISF calibration
Once everything is installed, we calibrate displays and speakers to reference standards. This is the step almost everyone skips — and the reason our rooms look and sound different from rooms installed by the rest.
5. Training and ongoing support
We sit with you and your family until the system is genuinely easy to use, and we're available afterward for tuning, upgrades, and service.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a dedicated room?
No. We install both dedicated theaters and media rooms, and most of our customers end up somewhere in between. The room you have can almost always be made to work — the question is what tradeoffs make sense for how you'll actually use it.
Can you work with my builder or designer?
Yes, and we strongly prefer to be looped in early. The biggest cost savings on a custom theater come from getting the wiring and structural decisions right before the drywall goes up.
How long does an install take?
A media room is typically 2–4 weeks from contract signing to handoff. A dedicated theater with custom acoustic treatment can take 6–12 weeks depending on equipment lead times and construction coordination.
What about service after the install?
Every project includes a one-year service window for adjustments and tuning. Beyond that, we offer ongoing service plans and a la carte support — and because we're local, we actually show up.
