Who uses the space? What do they need to see or hear? How often does the setup change, and who operates it day to day? Those questions come before an equipment list. Displays, speakers, sources, controls, network needs, and equipment locations should follow the actual way the space will function.

Respect the space and the people in it

A meeting room, a customer-facing space, and a place where music sets the atmosphere call for different decisions. Good design considers sightlines, listening levels, ease of use, and how visible the technology should be. It also accounts for the other work happening in a new fit-out or renovation so the finished result feels intentional.
